Broccoli And Mushroom Dip (Mocktails snacks)

Makes 4 servings



Ingredients

250 gms broccoli
1 can (450 grams) mushrooms
1 onion , chopped
1 clove of garlic , crushed
a dash of slit green chillies
2 tbsp maida
3/4 cup milk
2 tbsp butter

salt


Method
  1. Cut the broccoli into medium sized pieces and plunge them in salted boiling water for 2 minutes. Remove and drain.
  2. Drain and slice the mushrooms. Keep aside the liquid from the can.
  3. Heat the butter and fry the onions for 1 minutes. Add the garlic and green chilli and fry again for a few seconds.
  4. Add the flour. Cook for atleast 1 1/2 minutes on a slow flame.
  5. Add the milk, liquid from the can and the cheese and cook until the mixture becomes thick.
  6. Add the broccoli, mushrooms, salt and pepper and mix well.


Tips
  1. Serve hot with bread pieces.
  2. Let the guests serve themselves by dipping the bread pieces into the dip.
